By creating an account or using Unscroll, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Unscroll displays the mobile websites of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube inside an in-app browser, and hides parts of those pages — endless-scroll surfaces such as Reels, the For You feed and Shorts.

Trademarks named here belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those services.
Unscroll is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, ByteDance Ltd., TikTok, Google LLC or YouTube.
Read this section carefully. It is the most important one for you.
Your use of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube through Unscroll remains governed by their own terms of service. Those terms are between you and them; Unscroll is not a party to them.
Those platforms restrict how their services may be accessed and modified. Using a third-party app that alters how their pages are displayed may breach their terms.
The consequences fall on your account, not ours. Those platforms may, at their discretion, limit your access, degrade the service, or suspend or terminate your account. You accept that risk by using Unscroll. If you are not willing to accept it, do not use the app.
You agree to use Unscroll only with accounts you own and only in ways permitted by the platform in question.
To be explicit, we are not responsible for:
You must be at least 13 years old to use Unscroll. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use this app. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete that account and the information attached to it.
If you are 13 or older but below the digital age of consent where you live — up to 16 in parts of the European Union — you also need permission from a parent or guardian to use Unscroll.
You must also be able to enter into a binding contract.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at m.bows@outlook.com if you believe it has been compromised.
You may close your account at any time. See Section 10.
Filtering for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube is available at no cost. A premium subscription unlocks additional settings on top of that free filtering — such as DM-only mode, hiding your YouTube watch history and playlists, and the scroll budget feature.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you hold under the law that applies to you, including any right of cancellation it provides.
You agree not to:
The “time saved” figure compares the daily estimate you provided at onboarding with the time you actually spent in the app. It is not a measurement of time you would otherwise have spent on those platforms, and it is not a health or wellbeing metric. It is an approximation, presented for motivation, and should not be relied on for any other purpose.
Unscroll depends on third-party websites we do not control. Those platforms change their pages constantly. A change on their side can break filtering without warning, partially or entirely, until the app is updated.
We do not guarantee that the app will be available, uninterrupted, or that any particular filter will keep working. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Unscroll is a tool for changing how social media pages are displayed. It is not a medical device, a treatment, or a substitute for professional advice. The “time saved” figure, the streak counter and the scroll budget are motivational features, not clinical measurements, and no part of the app should be relied on as guidance about your health or wellbeing.
If you are struggling with compulsive social media use, or with your mental health more generally, please speak to a qualified professional.
Unscroll — its design, code and features, excluding third-party content — belongs to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the app, or use our name or branding without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Unscroll is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or 50 CAD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of access to a third-party account.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
You may stop using Unscroll and close your account at any time, in the app, via Settings → Delete account. This is immediate and permanent.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service while you hold a paid subscription, you may request a refund of the unused portion through Apple.
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Unscroll after that means you accept the new Terms.
If you have a problem, contact us first at m.bows@outlook.com. We will try to resolve it with you within 30 days. Most things can be settled this way.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute not resolved under Section 12 is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada, subject to any mandatory protection available to consumers in their place of residence.
